Umbrella has been elevating the voices of women, families, and survivors of interpersonal violence in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont since 1976.

Umbrella's 5th Annual Spring Gala is right around the corner!

Please join us on May 17, 2024 from 5:30-10:00pm at the Inn at Mountain View Farm, 3383 Darling Hill Rd, East Burke, VT 05832 to celebrate the renewal of cultivating a community where all people thrive free from abuse and oppression.

Tickets - Early Bird Discount is one ticket for $85 or two tickets for $160; After May 1st tickets become $100 each. – All ticket purchases will receive one free drink ticket at check in.

SOCIAL CHANGE focuses on education and initiatives in the schools and in the community that aim towards preventing gender-based violence and creating a community where abuse and oppression are acknowledged and addressed.  Learn more.

ADVOCACY for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, teen dating violence, human trafficking and any other gender-based violence. Our 24-hour program provides client-led support for housing, legal matters, saftey planning and more.  Learn more.

FAMILY BASED SERVICES Kingdom Child Care Connection provides child care subsidies, referral and specialized child care support. The Family Room provides supervised visitation to ensure children receive safe contact with family members.  Learn more about Kingdom Child Care Connection and The Family Room.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT supports women with significant barriers to employment.  The Cornucopia program, and our social enterprise, Dolcetti each wrap around women to support them in building job readiness skills. Learn more about Cornucopia and Dolcetti.
